Michael and Laura are two of the most authentic people I have met in some time. That say what they want and they work to get it. Combined they live a stellar life being true to themselves and eachother. Truly inspirational, especially when I hear often the idea of “compromise” or “choosing your battles. These two, sure probably do compromise and choose their battles, though I bet dont look at situations as win-lose…rather win-win. Fantastic!
Also what was special about this shoot is the Groom hired two photographers to complement one anothers strengths, yeah a bit more coin, but the end result is a body of work [photography is huge for M&L] that is phenomenal. The other photographer is Joe Vaughn out of Detroit…maybe you have seen his work with the White Stripes, 50 Cent or Eminem…yeah dude is that kind of photog. What an opportunity! I picked up from him that one should always say whats on their mind regarding the structuring of a photoshoot, be gentle and also firm with the clients, and just go with it. Rad!
This wedding was held at the Rice Mill Building on the peninsula of Charleston overlooking the harbor. Timed perfectly [the sun was just warm enough to give a glow without being too hot to create yellowy-orange skin tones], the shots came out brilliant in my opinion. Heres are some of my favorites:
